The good news is that I'm thinking about food a lot less, which I think is a healthy habit. With WW I still had to constantly think about food- even if I was (trying) to focus on healthy foods, it was all I could think about. With my new diet (Ideal Protein) it's more routine, my choices are limited, and I'm focusing on other things I want to do.
In my first week, I am down about 7 Lbs. Pretty remarkable. But my biggest wins, I think, are the following:
* Attended 3 parties and didn't indulge in non-approved foods
* Baked 6 dozen cupcakes (on three different occasions, including my favorite red velvet) and didn't partake
* Made a Father's Day breakfast (complete with Bacon & Bread Pudding French Toast) and dutifully ate my protein omelet
I'm definitely breaking my addiction to sugar and white flour. And when I'm feeling weak, I simply close my eyes and imagine my new me.
